SAKOM provides support services for international facilities and military bases, including logistics, utilities, equipment supply, power generation, accommodation, security, and hard and soft facilities management services.

We have wholly owned entities in North America, Africa, Europe and Asia delivering facility and military base support services in the country of performance. Our presence and strategic ties with local partners allows us to rapidly mobilize international facility support and military base support contracts at relatively short notice. We provide the appropriate management, labor and equipment for our operations, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard. 

Hard Facilities Management

From planned and preventative maintenance to reactive maintenance, SAKOM provide a range of bespoke facilities management services for clients in the commercial and government sectors. Support services include; Plumbing Maintenance, Electrical and HVAC Installation and Maintenance, Power Generation and Building Maintenance. 

Soft Facilities Management

SAKOM are able to provide clients with an integrated facilities management solution combining both hard facilities management and soft facilities management services. Our soft facilities management services include; Cleaning, Grounds Maintenance, Pest Control, Bulk Water Supply, Black and Grey Water Removal, Trash Removal and Security Services.

Bulk Water Supply both Chlorinated and Non-Chlorinated

SAKOM provide over 1,000,000 gallons of bulk chlorinated and non-chlorinated water each month. The source of such water is tested monthly to ensure US Government sanitary standards are met and records of such tests and assessments are retained.

Portable Latrine and Handwash Station Supply

SAKOM operate within strict compliance of the Berry Amendment Act and for the export market, utilize ‘Made in America’ products as our default position. SAKOM have found the quality of manufactured products from the US, ensures that extreme weather conditions are considered within the design and construction of these products.

Pest Control and Vector Control

Our pest and vector control experience has been gained in Africa using effective techniques for mosquito control, rodent control and in some cases, wild dog or snake capture and disposal. SAKOM will not dispose of animals through a process of euthanasia unless absolutely necessary and then, only under strict veterinarian control.

Trash Removal Services

Our experience of trash removal includes the construction of bespoke trash containers, suitably labelled and includes the removal of medical waste and hospital waste in line with government requirements. Trash is disposed of in line with municipal requirements and a strict focus on Health, Safety and Quality forms part of our ‘best practice’.

Black and Gray Water Removal Services

Associated with Trash Removal, this experience revolves around health and safety protocols and meeting legal requirements in states or countries in which we perform. SAKOM currently remove almost 900,000 gallons of such waste each month.

Fuel Supply Services

SAKOM provide bulk fuel in whatever quantity is required and into whichever bladder or fixed storage device is required. In some locations, SAKOM have delivered minimal 50-gallon tanks with hand pumps or deliver bulk fuel in dedicated below ground storage tanks.

Material Handling Equipment Supply

Our experience in this area has been gained from supplying backhoe loaders, flatbed trucks, telehandlers, fuel trucks and any other medium to heavy grade machinery required. Equipment is normally a mix of wholly owned or leased for short term contractual delivery.

Light and Heavy Vehicle Supply

SAKOM have a fleet of SUV’s which we use to support client activities over short and long term periods. Typically such vehicles are standard SUV type vehicles but ‘special’ vehicles with rugged terrain capability, snorkels or off-road run flat tires and wheels are supplied, depending upon the mission.

Labor Supply

Our military base and facility support services include any form of labor in any country or state in which we operate. Such labor can be general labor or vocational labor such as electrician, plumber or other skill set at the Senior, Foreman or Supervisory level. For overseas facilities support services, labor groups can be classified to such an extent that where local labor gaps occur, other country nationals can be supplied.
